- You must be 16+ and a Canadian resident
- One personal account per SIN
- We may close or freeze accounts that break these rules
- Fees? Almost None.
- No monthly fees
- Unlimited free Interac e-Transfers
- International transfers: $0 Royal-Bank fee + mid-market FX rate
- Full fee schedule here (still basically zero)
- Transfers & Payments
- Internal transfers: instant and free
- e-Transfers: you’re responsible for the correct email/phone and security question
- International: You confirm the recipient details are correct
- Cards & Limits
- Lost card? Freeze instantly — you’re not liable for fraud after reporting
- Daily limits start at $5,000 (you can raise them)
- Investments & Loans
- Investments are not CDIC-insured (market risk applies)
- Loans are subject to credit approval and responsible lending rules
- Security Is on Us
- 256-bit encryption, biometric login, real-time fraud monitoring
- We will never call or text asking for your password
- You must keep your device and credentials safe
- Privacy We follow PIPEDA and only share your data when required by Canadian law or with your consent. Full Privacy Policy here.
- Electronic Agreement Typing your name, clicking “I Agree”, or using the app = a legally binding signature.
- Changes & Closing: We’ll email you 30 days before major changes. You can close your account anytime — remaining funds returned in 3 business days.
